What is the cancellation policy?
All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.
What happens if the Museum is no longer able to hold the program on the specified date?
We will notify all registered participants via email should any changes to the scheduled program occur.
If a program is rescheduled, registrants may transfer their ticket to the new program date or opt to receive a credit valid for one year from the date of issue and applicable towards any Frost Science Education program.
If a program is completely canceled with no reschedule date, we will refund the full payment to the card used for the order.
Do Frost Science members get a discounted price for the program?
No, members must pay for the full program price. Members are not required to pay for general admission.
How do I register for Tech Lab programs?
Registration is completed online. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Once your registration has been reviewed and the payment has been processed, you will receive a final confirmation email. You are not formally registered until you have received this confirmation.

Where do you check in for the program?
On the day of the program, there will be a staffed sign-in table available in the first floor Atrium 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. The staff member will ask for your name and confirm whether you have purchased your entrance ticket. From there, you will be either be directed to the ticket center for Museum admission or the main entrance.
Where is the program located?
Tech Labs take place on the fifth floor of the Museum in the Knight Learning Center classrooms. You will turn right as you exit the elevators on floor 5 and may wait at the picnic tables in front of the classrooms and WetLab exhibit. A Frost Science educator will escort you into the appropriate classrooms when the program is ready to begin.
Can my child attend alone?
No, a parent or guardians must be in attendance with anyone under the age of 18. Parents and guardians must pay the $25 participation fee. Younger children may need the help of an adult to complete certain tasks.
What am I to expect of the program?
Each program is approximately 2 hours long. Frost Science educators and community experts will introduce the subject matter and provide a short lecture. Then, participants will engage in a hands-on project for the second half of the program. Guest will be able to take home their project at the end of the program.
Who takes home a final product from Tech Lab activities?
The main participant who is registered (individual participants 18 and up or youth participants 17 and under) will receive a take-home item from the program. Parents and/or guardians accompanying children are not guaranteed a take-home item from the program unless they pay the full participation fee of $40.
Can I still participate in the activity if I arrive late?
Yes, we will still accept you into the activity even if you are late until the halfway point of the program (1 hour past the scheduled start time). We will no longer accept you into the program beyond that point.
