A self-proclaimed nerd, Cory’s first museum job was at the ripe old age of eight, volunteering with his grandmother, giving tours at Crane Point Hammock Museum and Nature Center on Islamorada. He went on to pursue an undergraduate in Florida archaeology, and a master’s in museum anthropology, specifically looking at cultural representation through built environment and multi-sensory engagement with museum collections. Over the last decade, Cory has worked in museums, aquariums and nature centers across south Florida. As the Exhibition Developer at Frost Science, Cory oversees exhibition planning, research and content development, and project management for new exhibitions at the museum.
