Your adventure starts here! The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is open daily. We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance of your visit. Members can choose to reserve online in advance or present their membership cards and photo ID directly at the entrance kiosk.

NOTICE: Please be advised that elevator access at Frost Science is currently extremely limited. To ensure the best experience during your visit, we encourage guests to use our staircases whenever possible. Our stairs provide a great opportunity to explore the museum at your own pace and enjoy the exhibits on each floor. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Need to Know

Bringing a bag or purse?

All bags or purses must be smaller than 14″x 12″. If your bag exceeds these dimensions, complimentary bag storage is available. Medical and infant bags will be permitted. Suitcases, backpacks, and duffle bags must be stored upon entry with a Guest Experience Ambassador, and all bags will be held until departure. Exceptions will be made for small bags or purses smaller than 14″x12″. For expedited entry into the museum, we encourage large groups not to bring a bag.

Our security officers reserve the right to review bags upon entry and prohibit bags that may damage the exhibits or compromise security. Please note that all personal items are the sole responsibility of the owner. Staff are not responsible for unattended bags or belongings.

Show reservations will be made onsite on visit date at the planetarium kiosk or on your personal smartphone device. Shows will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. View the FAQs here for more information.

First responders*, active US military and veterans with proper identification receive free admission to the museum. Seniors (62+) with proper identification receive a $5 discount on Explorer Tickets. Photography and videography is allowed for personal, non-commercial use, but keep an eye out for signage indicating specific objects or areas that cannot be photographed. Show us your best pictures by tagging @frostscience on Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. Tripods and other professional photography and videography equipment are not allowed without prior written approval by the museum’s marketing department. Please contact news@frostscience.org with your request at least 48 hours before your planned visit. Request does not guarantee permission.

Please note no guns, knives or weapons are allowed on premises. Weapons of any kind are prohibited, with the exception of on-duty police officers. To ensure the safety and security of all guests, please be advised that all guests must enter through weapons detectors upon entry and re-entry.

Frost Science is a family-friendly destination. Visitors are required to wear proper attire (as determined by museum personnel in their sole discretion) while on the museum property. For health and safety reasons, shirts and shoes are required at all times, including inside the Science Store and Food@Science café. Display of profane, obscene, or injurious language, texts, graphics, or revealing clothing for public view is prohibited. Guests displaying such language on clothing will be asked to either change the garment or otherwise cover the offensive image/language or leave the museum property.

Directions

Frost Science is located on Biscayne Boulevard in Maurice A. Ferré Park next to the Pérez Art Museum.
Frost Science is directly adjacent to the Miami-Dade Metromover, Museum Park station. Take the Omni Loop train to Museum Park station, and arrive steps from the museum entrance. Visit Miami-Dade Transit to view a full map of stations and information.
Coming from Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach or Orlando? Take Brightline’s high-speed express train to MiamiCental Station, just steps away from Frost Science. Skip traffic and parking - start your adventure early with Brightline!
Museum Park is serviced by several bus routes. Visit Miami-Dade Transit to view bus schedules, connections and transit directions.
Museum Park is serviced by the Biscayne trolley route, with a stop on Biscayne Boulevard, just north of NE 10 St. Visit Miami Trolley for a full list of route maps and information.
Frost Science is easily accessible by rideshare application users.
There are several bike racks located around the museum, including 8 in the onsite museum parking garage, four by the promenade and two by the plaza stairs.
Taxis may drop off at the main entrance of the museum.

Parking

Onsite Parking

Paid self-parking is available in the museum garage during regular museum hours (space limited). Onsite parking will be available for a $18 flat rate (members receive a $7 discount with validation). Guests must take their tickets and pay at the Pay on Foot stations located near the Knight Plaza elevator or at the bottom of the garage entry ramp. Please note only credit card payments are being accepted at both the Pay on Foot stations and the Pay in Lane (PIL) exit stations. Members can visit the Member Priority Window at the Ticket Center to validate their onsite parking.

The garage contains a limited number of specially designated parking spaces:

  • Accessible Parking: Parking spaces are available in the museum garage for vehicles bearing valid DMV handicapped parking stickers or license plates on a first come first served basis for vehicles with a clearance of 8’2″. For information on accessible spaces for vans greater than 8 feet tall, please call Guest Experience at 305-434-9600 or email info@frostscience.org.
  • Electric Vehicle Charging Stations: The museum garage includes six charging stations for electric vehicles.
  • Fuel Efficient Vehicle Parking: The museum garage includes six parking spots for fuel efficient vehicles. Vehicles that are allowed to park in the fuel efficient vehicle spots must have achieved a minimum green score of 40 on the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) annual vehicle rating guide.
  • Carpool Parking: The museum garage includes 12 carpool parking spots. Vehicles must have a valid carpool parking permit displayed in the vehicle and must have two individuals entering and parking at the station. Parking spaces may NOT be used on the days that you are not actively carpooling.
  • Baby Stroller Parking: The museum garage includes two parking spots for those with a valid and visible baby stroller permit.

Parking within Maurice A. Ferré Park (not affiliated with Frost Science) is available. There is also available parking at the Omni Garage ($8 for 2 hours; prices may vary).
