Step into the future where creativity and science collide. No matter what you think about it, artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly expanding into nearly every facet of our lives. Today’s reality is the culmination of thousands of years of human history, throughout which people have dreamed of creating AI in some form. This summer at Frost Science, discover AI’s past, present, and future with the Barbican Centre’s exhibition, AI: More Than Human, an unprecedented survey of the relationship between humans and technology.

Interact with machines and immerse yourself in vibrant installations as you explore humanity’s collaborative relationship with technology through cutting-edge research projects. Journey from AI’s roots in ancient Japan through the early advances in computing that made today’s highly digital world possible.

Throughout the exhibition, you’ll explore questions of what it means to be human, the meaning of consciousness, and whether machines will ever outsmart us. AI: More Than Human has something for everyone, from avid ChatGPT users to technophobes, and everyone in between.
