Sounds of the Ocean: an Embodied Sounds production
Sounds of the Ocean, an Embodied Sounds production, is an award-winning immersive experience that guides you on a mindful underwater odyssey. The experience connects human beings with the underwater world, through sound, music, visual art, and poetry. An official UN Ocean Decade Activity, Sounds of the Ocean has been featured in venues around the world since 2021 and now comes to Miami for the first time in the Frost Planetarium as a 25-minute full dome multi-sensory show.
The program guides you to a depth of 3,000 feet beneath the ocean’s surface listening to recordings of ocean life from the deep waters of Monterey Bay Canyon just off the shores of Northern California. The experience integrates high-resolution footage of whales and dolphins, original music and visual art to fully transport you to the underwater world and welcome you back on land.
Please note: Frost Planetarium experiences may contain bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort to those with light sensitivity or other pre-existing conditions.
nightLAB ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, even if you don’t attend. Refunds and exchanges due to organizer-initiated changes are at their discretion. Contact info@frostscience.org for ticket inquiries.
