Climate change is reshaping South Florida’s our environment and economy.

Miami’s ClimateReady Tech Hub is working on solutions. Join us on Wednesday, February 26 for a special rapid-fire LIVE@Frost Science: Making Miami Climate Ready to learn about the Tech Hub and its cutting-edge work from three local scientists and leaders.

Francesa de Quesada Covey will introduce the ClimateReady Tech Hub, a new collaboration that is responding to our changing relationship with water and weather by creating new technology for a global market. Then, Florida International University scientist Dr. Bill Anderson will share how the Tech Hub is creating the next generation of clean concrete that is more resilient and less harmful to the environment. Finally, University of Miami’s Dr. Andrew Baker will discuss how scientists are creating new breeds of coral that thrive in rising temperatures, and creating homes for them on hybrid reefs and seawalls that protect Florida’s coasts.

From the climate concerned to the tech enthusiast, this LIVE@Frost Science holds something for everyone. You’ll leave feeling energized by possibility and ready to meet our climate moment.
