For decades, Naval Medicine has been synonymous with excellence in biomedical research, disease surveillance, medical diplomacy, and innovation around the world.
In this next edition of LIVE@Frost Science on Tuesday, January 24, Rear Admiral Guido F. Valdes, Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific/Director, San Diego Market and Chief of the Navy Medical Corps, will present Innovations in Navy Medicine. Rear Adm. Valdes will discuss the challenges of providing medical services on the high seas and will provide his unique perspective on cutting-edge Navy Medicine research and development, along with current and future US military operational medicine capabilities.
LIVE@Frost Science: Innovations in Navy Medicine is presented in partnership with the Navy Office of Community Outreach.
Admission is complimentary. Tickets are limited to four per transaction. Program will take place inside the Frost Planetarium.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served. Food and beverage will be available for purchase prior to the event.
Please note registration to the event does not include museum admission. Museum exhibitions close at 6:00 p.m. Onsite parking is available in the museum garage for $8 flat rate starting at 6:00 p.m.
