CIT Winter Camp: Building the Future

The Curator-in-Training (CIT) program invites 12-15-year-olds to gain leadership in STEM skills.

During Winter Camp, our Curator-in-Training (CIT) campers will develop a scientific resource or video that aligns to one of Frost Science’s current exhibitions. At the end of the week, CIT’s will present their video to museum leadership. For more information on the CIT program, please click here.

Week 2: Building the Future

Are you ready for a challenge? Gear up for an inspiring hands-on introduction to the engineering and design process. Test your skills by designing an artificial reef, then build a high-flying spacecraft. To wrap up the week, you’ll investigate how scientists are engineering a better future for you and the planet.

This week of Winter Camp is separated into two sessions. Register for one, or both, to dive into the world of engineering and design.

Dates and Costs

  • Monday, December 30 – Tuesday, December 31, 2024: $225
  • Thursday, January 2 – Friday, January 3, 2054: $225
  • Full Week, December 30-31 and January 2-3, 2025: $429
