Frost Science is open daily, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. You and your loved ones can spend the day exploring the science behind the world around us while creating memories you’ll cherish well into the season.

Sunday, December 24 – Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day): 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, December 26 – Saturday, December 30: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve): 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, January 1 (New Year’s Day) – Saturday, January 6: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Holiday Happenings

Science enthusiasts, both young and young-at-heart, are invited to immerse themselves in a vibrant celebration featuring a fusion of winter wonders. Explore an enticing mix of seasonal scientific spectacles, including captivating live shows and pop-up programs that infuse the spirit of the holidays into the realm of discovery. Don’t forget to check out our special holiday photo ops throughout the museum!

Programming

Live Holiday Science Show: Enjoy the warmth of our live holiday science show, “Fired Up for the Holidays,” daily on the Ocean Gallery stage inside Power of Science. Join us as we roast chestnuts on an open fire to learn more about the wonderful element that fuels this chilly season.
Science Through Holiday Movies Passport Program: Earn snowflakes as you discover the science behind some of our favorite holiday movies throughout the museum. Pick up your passport at the museum entrance or at the activation station. Then, find all six snowflakes to get a complimentary holiday gift at the Science Store.
Santa and Elf Aquarium Dives: Santa and their elf helper will be making a splash as they dive in our Gulf Stream Aquarium exhibit throughout the season. If you’ve been nice this year, you may be able to spot them!
