The Museum Volunteers for the Environment (MUVE) hosts monthly volunteer workdays for anyone who is passionate about restoring Miami’s natural environment, and on Saturday, November 5, we’re making it special for members!

We strive to enhance the resilience of Miami’s coastlines through a range of initiatives, from habitat restoration, coastal clean ups, and citizen science, to collaborating with local organizations to promote conservation education. Join us for this special members-only workday to get to know your Frost Science community while helping to make a difference in our environment. It’s time to #getmuving!

Please wear sun protection and closed-toed shoes. All materials, water, and snacks will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own reusable gloves, reusable water bottle, and download the free CleanSwell app on your smartphone to collect marine debris data during the beach cleanup. Must register by Thursday, November 3. Participants under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Participants under 18 years of age must have signed waiver by parent or legal guardian.

The workday takes place from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Volunteers will register on a first come, first serve basis. SPACES ARE LIMITED.
